Urban Coffee Roastery

We fell in love with this concrete tilt up property when we first viewed it. The large old growth redwood timbers and the evidence of concrete handwork throughout left evidence of the proud builders who had been here a century before us. The challenge here was not only structural, but the lack of proper access. The only entry into the building was by the use of one small pedestrian door. We embarked on a major structural retrofit of the property, including the addition of a concrete drive in ramp and the installation of a motorized glass and aluminum commercial overhead door. We also upgraded and increased the electrical service, added a large private office and cleaned and restored the original beams to their former glory. It is now the home of the popular and Fast growing start up Red Bay Coffee.
