A former metal plating company used to call this attractive commercial building home. Our initial survey detailed years of deffered maintanance and neglect which needed to be remedied, but this particular site offered some attractive opportunities for better use of space. We firstly replaced the entire roof and parapet facade and attended to the failing brick work with great care. We then decided with planning approval to split the building into two individual units and also add a second mezzanine level in both, which added almost 40% more usable space. We added seperate pedestrian and vehicular access into each unit. We doubled the amount of skylights to allow for more natural light and fully insulated the building. This property has been revitalized for its new industrial users for many more years to come!
